Dress Code: Formal. Class A uniform with bow tie for Sworn personnel, formal attire for all others
Cost: $125 per person. Includes dinner, drinks, and formal portrait
Dinner: Buffet-style food, not a plated sit-down dinner. Seating has been limited to allow us to have more guests, so we ask that you do not claim a seat or a table. There will be plenty of stand-up tables as well.
Bar: Hosted. Yes, alcohol is included in your ticket price.
Tickets: Tickets will go on sale at 08:00 on Monday, August 1st, and will automatically stop when 330 tickets have been sold. Tickets will only be sold at the SFD Relief Association Website at https://www.sfdra.org/
This Gala is for Active & Retired Sacramento Fire employees and their significant other only. No other guests or children are allowed, and will not will be admitted. Tickets must be purchased in advance, and will not be sold at the door. If you are purchasing tickets for other employees, you must have the name of that employee (and their significant other) at the time of purchase. Parking is available for a flat fee of $5 at the lot directly across the street from the Elk's Tower. There are multiple hotels in the area for those coming from farther away.
A note about drinking alcohol while in uniform: Employees will be allowed to consume alcohol in their Class A uniform while on the premises of this private event. Alcohol consumption while in uniform before or after this event is strictly forbidden, and could potentially lead to disciplinary action. Please bring a change of clothes if you plan to "celebrate" before or after the Gala.
